I am using this as a birdhouse/hopefully nesting house for my mated pair of sun conures. Hang it in a cage instead of laying it on the ground to reduce the amount of bird droppings that get on it. Cannot wash it after laying eggs in it until the young are taken out of the cage. Usually the female destroys everything that gets into the cage, but leaves this hut alone. Maybe because she's busy destroying the grass basket I put on the ground. Birds spend a lot of time in it. I hope this one lasts long enough to bear children.
