I'm surprised at what some of the reviewers have to say. I won't use the term .st**id, but. Yes the guide is simple but it covers everything you need to know. Yes, it gets very hot when you use it, but here's a hint: it's an oven. I've never owned an air fryer but after trial and error it works great. The oven is very high quality compared to some others I've looked at. There are many recipes and tips online to help you find your starting point for air frying. There are so many variables, which is why the instructions are so simple. In the photos you can see what I think is the best place for the basket and tray. I like how the shelf is upside down and the basket is on top as seen in the picture. Sometimes I use the tray under the basket and sometimes I don't. Experiment! Found another low profile basket that I plan to put on a tray for some stuff. Take notes, adjust time and temperature as needed, and everything looks just like it does here. I recommend drizzle or brush most things with some oil, like olive oil, for the best flavor. And yes. I love mayonnaise and ketchup in a hot dog. I could go on, but I've said enough.
