My Corvette and GoldWing bike should stay in our garage. That means my everyday truck and my wife's SUV have to stay outside here in Oklahoma. Although we don't get much snow, frost and ice are common. We have a little buddy in each car, and every night they plug in an extension cord when we've parked in the driveway for the night. When we get ready to go to work, we just turn off Little Buddy's and leave. Windows are clean and completely free of snow, frost or ice. The heat is only moderate, so at 20 degrees at night I think it's probably around 50 degrees in the car. Warm enough to keep the windows clean. The brief moment it takes to plug or unplug the Little Buddy is NOTHING compared to cleaning windows with hard water. I'll never be without her as long as I can find her. If these two go someday. UPDATE: After a long search all over the internet I FINALLY found two more on Revane Prime. I ordered both so I would have spares in case someone was down on duty. Let frost and ice come!
