I've been using this heater for about 2 months.

I have been using this heater for about 2 months in the extreme cold here in Nebraska. Works as advertised and while a bit pricey for a small heater it's hard to put a price on a warm car.

Bought 3, two working and one not working.

I bought two, they work fine. Just open the third one to find it doesn't work. Unfortunately I have discarded the packaging and can't find any information to return it to the manufacturer. I've already passed the Amazon return date. So far there is no response from Amazon regarding the product warranty.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Works as expected, goes well with engines and engine parts

Seems well assembled, a bit bulky but sturdy. Others have warned that a lot of heat is generated. I doubt it really puts out 900 watts, it's a warm but smooth fan. I plugged it into a Wi-Fi controlled outlet so it turns on at 4am for 3 hours before I leave. It's good, but don't think it's super hot or super powerful. I find it soft.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So-so

No more ice scraping in the morning!

I use this with a street timer that is set to run for a few hours before I go to work in the morning. I never have to clear ice or snow and my car interior is always warm and dry. The first 10 minutes of my morning drive is much safer as the inner windows don't fog up and my engine heater has enough time to do its job. We often have 1/4 inch ice on our windshields in the winter and this little heater unmistakably melts it off.

Nice little heater - spares

This heater puts out a pretty decent amount of heat. It's quite heavy and a little bulky, so you'll need to carefully consider where to mount it. There is little support for the mounting plate, so you'll need to reinforce the base of the device to keep it from rattling. The power cord that came with the unit is most likely too short for smaller vehicles (if you have a plug installed in the front of the vehicle). I don't have a long history with this device, but so far it works as advertised.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons

Great little heater

There's nothing quite like getting into a warm car with the windows defrosted. I have been using these heaters for many years. As a first aider, I have to be ready at all times. It keeps my truck warm and clean. Keeping the cabin warm also helps conserve plastics in new cars. In the summer they dry out, and the winter cold compresses them, causing cracks in the plastic. don't worry about the heating. He drove into my son's car. No more worrying about cleaning frozen windows when you rush to…

BIG investment in engine heaters

My Corvette and GoldWing bike should stay in our garage. That means my everyday truck and my wife's SUV have to stay outside here in Oklahoma. Although we don't get much snow, frost and ice are common. We have a little buddy in each car, and every night they plug in an extension cord when we've parked in the driveway for the night. When we get ready to go to work, we just turn off Little Buddy's and leave. Windows are clean and completely free of snow, frost or ice. The heat is only moderate…

Good heating, wish it had a thermostat.

Keeps me warm in Alaskan spring (5F to 40F temp range). I just got back from a 5 mile trip to Alaska. My RV wasn't ready, including onboard heating, so I took that as one of my backup plans. I ended up using it extensively. At night, the temperature in my van stayed comfortable at 20 degrees Fahrenheit. in front of the exhaust opening. It seems to say here to leave at least 15 inches, but when they're in the line of fire it gets very hot. I would recommend a distance of at least 3 feet straight
