This particular size didn't work for me as the drill and tap size was too big for the diameter. for the material I repaired. Not Helicoil's fault, just a bad material challenge. However I was able to use my smaller spiral coil setup to do the repair, I just ordered a smaller screw and I'm sure I'll be fine. Helicoil makes a good product, the bottom snaps off just like it should. Just drill, tap, paste and you're back in business. People say you don't need threadlock etc to keep it in the hole and that may be true but I still use blue threadlock. Belt and braces, boy, you know.
