With a dented pipe, exhaust removal βasβ is not necessary.
For stock 2012 Wrangler drivetrain no problem BUT the problem is you need either a slim 3/8 or slim flexible extension for your 3/8. Couldn't get this socket with my 3/8 mallet, but a thin 17mm wrench can be used or it WILL NOT CLEAN the exhaust pipe. I ended up denting the pipe with this tool and my "big" ratchet. Next time I'll consider a 17mm bolt with two nuts. I'll leave this as a backup as I've already made a dent in the pipe.
