I needed a small tripod to hold my phone on to record stable video and it goes above and beyond. It has so many adjustment options that it works like a small tripod but can be expanded into a full size tripod. You can then detach it from the tripod legs and use it as a streamlined selfie stick. But I only fold the legs, still easy to use as a selfie stick if you don't have small hands. Comes with a Bluetooth remote control (with battery) that works with both Apple and Android phones, enabling photos and turning the camera on and off. The only downside is that I wish there was a built-in way to carry the bluetooth remote that other selfie sticks have. This is a great feature so you don't lose your remote control. To do this, you must have the remote control with you. However, this is a small price to pay for such a versatile and stable tripod/selfie stick. I'm sure I can adjust the velcro method to attach the remote to the tripod for easy removal if needed. This tripod is highly recommended, it works well for all your needs.
