Nice coat. I bought it specifically because it has buckles instead of velcro and slips over my head. I have a medium sized dog (chest=25.5, back=25.5, neck-18). I ordered a large one. The coat is a little short at the back (she has a long back), but provides adequate coverage. This is not a bulky sweater; it's actually a bit flimsy, but my dog only seems to be bothered when the temperature is below 20 degrees (she's a short-haired mixed breed). I bought pink; it's a little on the bright side. Wool repels water adequately in light to medium drizzle. I didn't test it during a rainstorm; I doubt my dog will stay dry. Unfortunately, the zipper broke and some of the seams began to tear. I had to sew part of the zipper and some seams that started to tear.
