NO BONE CONDUCTION

Please note these are NOT bone conduction headphones. They're more like a mini speaker in front of each ear, pointing back into the ear. I have real bone conduction headphones (aftershocks) and thought I'd buy real bone conduction headphones because I didn't read the description carefully enough and they showed up in the list when I typed in "bone conduction headphones". They didn't meet my needs after trying them for a few days but they're not bad for the price depending on what you use them for. I gave these to my wife so she can listen to music and shows around the house and still hear our baby and it works great for that. It would also be nice in the office where you still want to hear what is happening around you. To me, that's not very good for two main reasons: Not waterproof enough. I walk a lot, often in light rain, and I sweat a lot. Since this isn't true bone conduction, it's also impossible to block out the noise without sacrificing sound quality. True bone conduction means you can plug in earbuds to block out traffic and loud ambient noise, and it actually INCREASES the volume of what's playing in the headset. Since these are basically just mini-speakers aimed at your pierced ears, trying to block out ambient noise with earbuds, this also lowers the headset's volume. So if you keep that in mind and use it accordingly, I think it's a good value. what is happening around you. To me, that's not very good for two main reasons: Not waterproof enough.
