I don't think I've ever used a more annoying product in my entire life. It's one thing, if this item had never worked since then I wouldn't have the money I paid for it. This thing also cost me my time and sanity. Worked great for the first few weeks. Then he started sparking. This would toggle monitors but not keyboard and mouse. I would disconnect and reconnect everything and BOOM it works great. Then something else will act for no reason. A few minutes swapping plugs etc. and it works great again. Over time, the interval between inexplicable errors (they were ALWAYS somehow different) and normal operation got shorter and shorter until every day something went wrong. Sometimes the monitor on a computer wouldn't work, sometimes the hot swap button wouldn't work, sometimes nothing worked until I got under my desk, unplugged everything, and plugged everything back in. After all the time I've spent messing around with this infernal thing, I can definitely say that the errors 1) weren't from USB or HDMI cables as I twisted them, although half a dozen different ones 2) were not from my computer hardware or software since I swapped one of the computers out during my use and had the same issues and 3) probably not even due to a weak connection how could that be if I didn't go under the subway and on the busiest line disruption in the world. The only logical conclusion I can draw is that this thing is cursed. Please avoid and save yourself from disappointment.
