Well packaged with bubble wrap but should have been sent in a box rather than an envelope due to the weight. Maybe that's why one stone had a hair-thick crack. I wanted the seller to exchange only one stone but they told me to return all stones for exchange. The stones didn't look like the photo, they weren't quite smooth like glass or wax. They had a residue with circles printed on them from the bubble wrap. I washed with soapy water and finally removed it. They are only shiny and super smooth when used with the seller recommended oil. They're too thin to stay hot for long, but they're easy to carry in your pocket. Your body heat can warm you up. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I prefer the big set. I boil them in water for 30 minutes and wear them in a sock before bed. My family loves this new ritual and we all agree that these stones have healing powers. We fall asleep with them under our tense place, and the heaviness and warmth are comforting. In the morning, the stones near our body are smooth and warm. I'm very slim and it doesn't hurt to fall asleep on it because I toss and turn anyway and use a memory foam topper. I slide them under my body and they provide slight pressure and warmth. I actually feel like resting in them is healthy for me. My daughter is 22 and 25 and when I bring them a heated rock in a sock they love it. I think I'll buy more but wish they were a little cheaper.
