I chose these lift brackets because after reading a lot of reviews they stood out because they didn't "bounce" at the top end of travel when the sunroof was fully open. Well they do. I feel like I have to slow them down at the end to prevent rebound. However, I suspect each new lifter support will yield a bit, so no standout deductions. Otherwise they work well and are a cheap solution for those who find it difficult to raise the sunroof. To save you a trip to You Tube, all you need is a thin screwdriver to pry the spring clips off the old ones (there's a screwdriver slot that's obvious upon inspection). The new ones snap into place, no need to remove the clips. If you don't have someone to support the hatch, I've found that a 4 foot level (or anything 48 inches long) is the perfect support. Remove and install one page at a time. You'll be done in five minutes.
