Used while driving As others have said the polarity is reversed and can be corrected in several ways: 1) Just swap the wires in the plug which is easily done with a small jeweler's screwdriver . (<---correct path)2 - infinity) Don't be stupid, just swap the wires in the connector. Keep in mind that this connector is ONLY FOR THE DRIVER, not the tweeter (in the JK 2016 at least) but if you are changing the kit of components to replace the standard set then you are probably using a tweeter of some then a passive crossover , which in any case requires a separate line. 4 stars because of all the people who run their speakers in reverse polarity and unwittingly trusted Metra to make a simple suspension.
