We have used different brands of training collars on our very active 70 lb German Short Hair. So far, after a few weeks of use, this one is better than most we've used. The remote control features easy-to-use buttons to prevent accidental presses. The control button is on the top of the remote, so you can't press any of the others. Range is as good as most, seems a little better than advertised. This is the first one we've used with voice command, it's a nice feature and definitely caught our dog's attention, he was confused. The battery is holding up well so far, but we've only been using it for a few weeks.
