Review on National Hardware N237 883 Super Wedge by Melissa Anderson

I use it to brace a heavy office door that has an automatic locking system that closes and locks the door as soon as you let go. The National Hardware wedge is long and strong enough to hold this type of door open, but lacks the rigidity to really get the job done. Generally you want to kick it in the door so it wedges into the hole below, but this particular doorstop isn't strong enough to be used that way - it bends and curves instead of sliding further under the door. Because of this, in the end, the weight of the door wins and it gradually closes, pressing on the doorstop. Also, contrary to the product description (which says "grey"), the device I received is dark brown. Decent product for the price, but if you have a large, heavy door - or maybe a spring-loaded door - you need something more.
