Review on πŸ‘ž Bogs Waterproof Insulated Toddler Winter Boys' Shoes for Outdoor Exploration by Scott King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Boots to wear in class!

Most winter boots for toddlers and toddlers are typically stiff, mid-calf boots that children can't move around in well unless they hobble in them. This is good if you are only in the snow for a short time. However, since I don't send my 5 or 6 year old to school with an extra pair of shoes to change into as soon as he gets there (because that means losing either the shoes or the shoes), he ends up feeling like he has he has two concrete blocks on his feet if he wears boots all day. But these swamps are awesome! The bottom sole is waterproof, warm but elastic, like crocodiles. The upper part is fabric and I was afraid that water would seep through it, but I ran the faucet over it for a minute and the water seemed to evaporate. I suspect they have been treated with a water repellent treatment. So if you wash these boots with detergent or soap, the water resistance will disappear and you will have to apply a new coat of paint. But so far it looks like it's 100% waterproof as advertised. And my son likes the two handles, they are easy to put on the boots even with gloves. Boots with flimsy plastic handles have fallen off in the past. Best children's shoe I've ever seen.
