available In my opinion, this device does not play stereo sound. The sound is monophonic, like an AM radio. It transmits sound through the USB port, but not stereo sound. The included USB-A/USB-C adapter works perfectly. I tested it on multiple devices: laptop, iPad and Android tablet. The result was the same. I connected it to my Sony WH1000-XM3 and my Steel Series Arctis 7. I double checked every connection just to make sure I didn't have any loose connections. Tried different music and videos. Just flat, monophonic sound. The sound is clear; The connections are tight, but the sound just doesn't register as stereo. If you need to connect your headphones to your tablet or phone, I recommend a USB to 3.5mm adapter. If your sound card isn't working on a PC, this might be a viable option.
