The vacuum cleaner turns itself off after a few minutes (after it has been fully charged). This has happened many times during normal light use in small areas as a fast pickup upper. That wasn't our main vacuum. We have a vertical one to do our main vacuuming. I contacted Revain and they told me to contact the manufacturer. I will update this review pending a response from them. Overall, I like the vacuum cleaner, but I couldn't handle a power outage that accidentally happened while using it. This was done with a fully charged device. Later use has led to similar problems. Very annoying to say the least. I really wanted to like this vacuum for its design, portability and light weight, but it didn't meet my needs.
