I have to comment on this article as I can't believe some of the negative comments. This is a great replacement for Ford remote key shell. It wouldn't be difficult for anyone to tell it apart from a factory original unless you had it nearby. It's practically identical in every way. My original was really shabby and the images on the buttons were completely worn away and the rubber was starting to degrade. Found this and replaced my original in less than five minutes. As the description notes, remove and replace the circuit board in your original remote to keep it looking brand new. While it comes with a tiny screwdriver to pry it open, it's much easier to just pry it open with a coin or a large flathead screwdriver. If you're having trouble getting it to fit, just be patient and wiggle it slightly as you close it and it will fold up very nicely.
