Review on 🔐 Enhanced Lid Support: SafeStay Lid Stay 105° Open with Soft Close, Simple Installation for Toy Boxes and Chests by Eric Currie

This product serves its intended purpose well. I built my daughter a dressing table and needed a soft top for the hinged lid. Although it served its purpose, I am deducting 2 stars for the following reasons: 1. The instructions appear to have been printed on a home printer. Due to the lower print quality, it was difficult to see the dimensions. Especially since the measurements are in metric units which need to be converted. Higher print quality and standard conversions would be better. 2. The screw hole that attaches the case to the mounting plate was not drilled. The screw that came with it wasn't a self-tapping screw, so I'm sure it must have been. Since I don't have metric taps, I cut it to 8/32 and used a different screw. It didn't bother me since I had a faucet, but it's obviously a quality control issue. Fix these 2 things and I would give it 5 stars.
