I have ordered two for wall mounting at each main entrance of the building. They are very light and easy to hang up. The device comes with command strip stickers, but a small nail will do. They don't have to stay plugged in, but hanging them next to a USB outlet is probably ideal. This item does not come with a standard 2-3 pin (US) plug. It needs to be plugged into a USB port to charge. The temperature reading seems accurate enough, but remember that the outside temperature if it's close to the door and the room temperature can affect this number. I recommend this product.
