I give all 5 stars because hti-19 is as close as possible to the $1000-2000 device at the price; I know exactly what I'm buying this device for, I wasn't expecting to be able to watch movies or get sharp pictures on it, I build houses quite often and in that regard it does a lot of the work for me. One of the reasons I bought it was because I had an expensive unit (I won't name the brand) that was stolen and my hardwood installer in my last house had shut down one of the heating registers in one of the bedrooms and didn't want it Go fishing and try to find it blindly. This device makes this job smooth as it shows you a temperature difference, mind you, it doesn't read through materials like drywall or hardwood, it shows you the temperature difference in relation to those materials. Read the temperature through the hive box, tell me the temperature difference in relation to each spot in the box so I can see where the bees are clustered without opening the lid and cooling their surroundings and revising them to theirs Warming up the herd, this toy does that for me and it does me a lot of good. I hope this helps, yes there are people out there who might think they have been lied to about the description but if you don't know what to expect from the value don't complain for the wrong reason.
