The hat is what I expected. The hat's cotton base is lightweight and suitable for summer wear. There are two things that could be improved. First, the beak of the hat is hard. It should have a plastic insert, which means you can't bend the bill too much. Second, the velcro is a bit long after I adjusted it. This is a problem I have with all Velcro adjustable caps. Aside from the rigidity of the visor, I'm happy with the cap. The seams are good all around and look well made. I hope this helps and I welcome any questions about this hat.
