site almost 3.5 years later and it still works. To get my original password I contacted customer service and they helped me reset my password within 48 hours. Now I can return the new DVR I bought when I thought I couldn't get back into the system after losing my password. Great customer service has always been for this Camvtech 16 Channel AHD Hydrib, allowing me to cover more square feet with more cameras and switch from analog to AHD cameras. Cover my entire store. I was definitely wrong, currently using the device as an 8ch analog/8ch flax AHD DVR. I bought 4 AHD cameras (didn't want to risk buying 8 AHD cameras if the quality wasn't better) and I can literally see my entire store with 4 AHD cameras. I added two more AHD cameras to cover the two blind spots I noticed and another AHD camera behind the checkout to capture faces approaching the POS checkout (6 AHD cameras total). I bought this device because I couldn't record my entire store with 8 960H cameras with my old 8 channel Zmodo device. Unexpected additional feature: Eddie from Camvtech Support. These are the right people. You get real-time tech support (this was one of my best support sessions). Camvtech guys really care that you are 100% satisfied with everything. When I got my first Revain unit, I clicked the FULL HD settings button, my monitors and cameras weren't HD and I couldn't wake up my system because I didn't have FULL HD. NO PROBLEM! They tried to help me turn off FULL HD mode and because I didn't feel comfortable with it, they just sent me another device directly from Camvtech. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! They even programmed the unit for me before sending me a new one (which arrived a few days after receiving the first unit I returned). Pros: This unit is exactly as described, amazing real time personal tech support who has a lot patiently guided me through each step of the process. I would recommend this unit a million times over to anyone not really interested in paying the cost of converting to FULL HD when integrating their old cameras into a new AHD system. Minor Cons: Believe it or not (after reading this review), this device has one downside. The software interface looks almost like playing an old Atari video game and may or may not seem as complex as other devices. However, this is not really a problem. When I couldn't understand something. I just called support directly (I saved their number on my phone) and they helped me figure it out. The software interface definitely needs a cosmetic update.
