my husband needed an obd2 reader to check the code on his nissan. This little reader was perfect as we didn't need anything special just something to read the codes and tell us what they mean. He plugged it in and gave us data that his oxygen sensors weren't working properly. This made the guessing game pretty easy by just telling us what the problem was. After replacing the O2 sensor, the codes could be cleared with just a few button presses. We've also used it on my Toyota and my dad's Honda and it's worked great.
