This stuff works wonders. Absorbs everything in the water column, including elements of the nitrogen cycle. I use it in a freshwater aquarium and I noticed a difference after just a few days. It says you can regenerate it with bleach, but I haven't done that yet (although after a few months I just throw it away and buy a new one). Turns an uncomfortable dark brown when it's time to leave. If you have trouble with cloudy water, feed less, change the water more often, and give some Purigen. This won't solve all your problems, but it will help you manage your symptoms.
