The router is rather minimalistic. It has all the features you would expect from a router. The firmware is easy to use but requires using the web address given in the manual. I would definitely prefer the standard used by the rest of the industry 192.168.1.1 but unfortunately that requires an epcn.router address. After logging in, setup is the same as other routers. If you do nothing, it will be DHCP. I would suggest that you change your admin password and set up your SSIDs with WPA code as well. The speed is definitely good. I have a 100Mbps service from xfinity and the router handles it with no problem. There are no complaints about the speed. I've searched for open source firmware for this chipset and haven't found anything. I hope OPENWRT or DDWRT will be available soon. At the same time, the supplied firmware works perfectly and is even VPN-capable. Definitely useful, but I'd prefer an open source firmware. Last note. There is only 1 bulb on the dashboard. It shows whether the device is on or off. During installation I want to know which LAN port is actually working. However, this is entirely understandable. Who really looks at their LEDs after tuning? In fact, I do my best to disable LEDs from other routers. All in all, a cheap, entry-level Wi-Fi6 router. Good speed but could stick to more standards like 192. and chipset/memory setup for open source firmware. Inexpensive router.
