Review on 🎧 High-Quality Maxell XL-II 90-Minute Blank Audio Cassette for Superior Sound Recording by Duy Desperado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent analog sound quality? would anyway!

I've only recently become interested in analog recording and sound, so I can't say I have much experience with different cassette manufacturers and cassette types. I use a Technics RSB17W cassette deck, which isn't the most expensive cassette deck, but I bought it for $9 from Goodwill. So far I've used Maxell UR90 Type I cassettes to record from vinyl to cassette and I've also hooked up a line in from my computer to record digitally to cassette. I bought this XLII Type II cassette to see if there really is a difference in audio playback between different types of cassette material and let me tell you, there is a big difference. I tested an album (The Avett Brothers "I and Love and You") from my computer onto the XLII, and I'm not the biggest music lover, but the sound quality was almost lossless. To be honest, I couldn't tell any difference playing straight from iTunes or straight from a cassette. I'm excited to see what I can get out of a Type IV cassette, but if I order one and make a record I'll be sure to post a review. I will definitely be buying more Maxell XLII cartridges in the future.
