This is a first review due to its short lifespan. I can't say how long they last. My previous premium headphones broke after 10 months so I tend to take them with a grain of salt. The initial setup was pretty easy. Open the case, tell your phone to connect, and you're done. Use the app to connect to them and update the firmware and you're good to go. The firmware update takes some time, so make sure you have time for it. advertised that these headphones have active noise cancellation and a transparency mode (listening mode) with multiple microphones. It's amazing to have this for the price and let me tell you, you won't get a quality implementation of this. I was particularly interested in the transparency mode, and it's too quiet to be useful. I have very sensitive hearing and can barely tell the difference between the transparent mode and just the passive mode (no noise cancellation, no transparency). ANC works, but definitely not as well as the in-ears I've used in the past. I prefer a more neutral sound and am concerned about low bass marketing. Many hip-hop tuned headphones and earbuds simply ruin the sound of rock and other styles of music, degrading the listening experience. Especially known for this brand, actively promoted on YouTube. However, they sound much better tuned and the bass profile is much closer to what I prefer. Listening to a song like Root by Deftones isn't erased by obnoxiously overdriven bass. Interestingly, this has become one of my benchmarks. Audio playback isn't great, but there doesn't seem to be anything too severe to really detract from the experience, and you can tweak the audio profile with the Soundcore app. The volume gets decently high, but not as high as we would like. They say that music that is too loud can damage your hearing, and I seem immune to it and like loud music. However, they are loud enough to enjoy. So far I haven't had any issues with battery life, but I'm pretty good with charging. Oddly, there's no wireless charging here, unlike the A1. The USB-C connector protecting the port is very inconvenient to use, so charging is a bit of a hassle. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to change it, and if so, how. I suspect that cutting out the inside of the rubber makes the job easier, but may result in the connector falling into your pocket. If that's the case, it's most likely preferable at this point to just unplug it and then just yank out the lint when that happens. I didn't really test them with a phone call, but that seems like a lower priority feature to me. lately. In general, I like these headphones. They are comfortable to wear and make a good sound, especially for the price. But also for the price you don't buy them because of the ANC and related features because they are disappointing. Nonetheless,
