MATERIAL for old one-step paint / number 7 is the ticket
. The original paint looks weathered but is not badly scratched or worn. DO NOT take the wipe paste and "go to town first", you will destroy and thereby remove the old original "factory" paintwork. Try the old number 7, rub firmly/wet with your hands, leave on overnight, remove and repeat several times. This material reactivates the solvent base in your original paint and makes it usable again. After the original paint has been re-wetted, LIGHTly buff your imperfections and then rub down with pure Carnauba Wax to protect the now very valuable original paint. secrets, thanks later.
