While this is a very nice looking tool, it mostly disappoints. Looks good, so it's a fashion gift, but it's not a good set for those who use tools. The ratchet is very rough. It rotates easily 15° before the ratchet engages. Something as nifty looking as this kit should have had something better under the hood. -1 star. The magnetic cover is too easy to remove, making it impossible to put in a pocket. The cover has directional bulges for some reason, so it can only be installed in one direction. I try to keep it under the base when opening the kit but it's not really designed for that and the base slips. Thus, the cover interferes, so to speak, and does not work to reliably protect the case. -0.5 stars. The beats are shiny but poorly formed. The torx security bits are too small so they don't fully engage. The shiny gold finish is slippery and not what you need for a grippy screwdriver bit. -1 star This set does not come with sockets, but an adapter for 1/4" sockets would have made it much better. A small all-purpose ratchet is more useful as a screwdriver after all. -0.5 stars
