Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Reebok Sublite Cushion Work Shoe by Robert Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

fantastic shoes, even compared to non-rigid socks!

I needed a hard toe work shoe for commuting and wanted a multitasking shoe that I could still walk in so I didn't have to carry an extra pair. Not only did they look amazing (and yes, they're all blue, although the flex fabric appeared black on my screen), but there was absolutely no break in the period. They're supremely comfortable on both the top (no squeaks) and bottom (lots of padding without much drop from heel to toe, which was important to me as a minimalist runner). I thought they were stiff and even felt a little heavy when I first took them out of the box (too used to runners!) but I had no issues with the weight or stiffness even during my first run. Finally, for anyone who likes to research products to death before buying, I was concerned that aluminum shoes (lighter than steel but more protective than composite) don't provide insulation and they are definitely well insulated for those who are freezing! but a bit too warm when running. On the other hand, they are comfortable and warm enough to wear barefoot and without socks :) a ring (hence the 4 stars), the insoles are not removable for washing! They're glued, so they'll break if you try to pull them out. This is not the best design as the insoles can start to smell after prolonged use

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
  • Some difficulties
