I have nothing negative to say about this adapter. I followed the instructions and first installed the driver, then plugged it in, then my two monitors. Since then everything works great. No lag, loss of resolution, and no crashes when disconnecting from the network for standalone use of the laptop. I have a Samsung Ultra7 that I use as a desktop all day, which means the card needs to work for a long period of time. It gets warm but not hot. I'm running it at 1080 and haven't had any video issues, but I can't comment on how it handles 4K. BTW I use different brands of monitors and the card plugs into a USB 3 hub which also drives a card reader and CD drive. All in all, it's a very inexpensive and reliable way to extend the desktop on a laptop with USB 3 capabilities.
