My cat does not like being in carriers or traveling at all so he typically will spend a lot of time in the carrier trying to break out. He was able to separate the zipper teeth on one of the doors while I was carrying him outside and jumped out. Fortunately he is not a runner and I was able to catch him, but this would definitely be a big problem for anyone whose cat is not well behaved in carriers and has a tendency to flee.
