I had a problem with my caravan where the fresh water tank was filling up even though it was connected to the mains water supply. The cause of the problem turned out to be a non-return valve in the fresh water pump, replacing it with this kit solved the problem. You can find the part online for half the price, but shipping is quite expensive.
