Review on πŸ”— Enhanced Linksys WRT1200AC Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router with Gigabit, USB 3.0 Ports, and eSATA Support by Jeff Bridgewater

Revainrating 5 out of 5

DD-WRT Router Works well with strong signal. Kind of awkward design.

Works well. I upgraded the stock antennas to larger ones for longer range and also flashed them with DD-WRT to unlock all the features. This device now has a longer range than Netgear's new Wi-Fi router, reaching areas that the Motorola modem and router combo cannot. If this AC1200 does the work for you, you can save a few bucks and extend the range with some upgraded antennas. The location where this device is used allows 3 to 5 wireless streaming devices to be connected at the same time. Although the design itself is a bit awkward. It's a bit big compared to most routers and you can't put anything on it. The "legs" prefer to stand on a hard and flat surface, and mounting it on the wall is a bit annoying. However, the legs appear to serve as easy-to-use mounting holes.
