None of our children have sensory impairments (as far as we know) but I decided to give this product a try anyway. We bought it for our daughter (2 years old) who can get hysterical and doesn't know how to calm down. Oddly enough, she wants to be hugged, that physical contact, but she's squirming like crazy because she doesn't know how to comfort her enough to calm her down. So I decided to give her a try - cleaning her arms, hands, feet, back and neck. It really helps! It also has a very calming effect on us adults. We love it! Our four year old son loves it too. This is a great relaxing activity for the whole family. Personally I will ask my husband to do this on my back, arms and hands so I can relax at night. I constantly struggle with anxiety and stress. I'm always looking for different things to use to help manage my anxiety and stress/tension levels - and this product seems to do the job perfectly. Usually my husband uses massages to help me but this product will bring relief to his hands as it doesn't require much effort. Highly recommended - not just for people with sensitivity issues! This is great for those looking for a calming/relaxing effect. And it's also a great communication experience.
