I bought these to help with my easy trigger finger and to help me stop clenching my fist while sleeping. They are good for that. They are very comfortable and supportive. They won't overlap if you buy the right size. Please measure your hand according to the instructions on the product images to choose the right size. I don't think these gloves will last very long as true mechanical work gloves because they are quite light despite having thin reinforcement pads sewn in. palm and back of knuckles. If you want a heavy-duty work glove, spend another $20 and upgrade. As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for".
