I wish I had bought this years ago. I live in Northern California between orchards and rice paddies. About 1/2 mile behind me is a permanent wetland. There are so many mosquitoes that it was impossible to use my patio and garden without a full concentration of DEET, and even then. My horses were sometimes driven insane by swarms of mosquitoes, despite my best efforts to protect them. I bought two BK 80D. For the first week I was very happy with the number of mosquitoes that met their fate - a few hundred a night. Then, on the first really warm evening, the block facing the wetlands was covered from head to toe with dead mosquitoes on the wetland-facing side. Several weeks passed with changeable weather and several hundred mosquitoes per night. Then came the morning of May 18th. The block facing the wetland was again packed top to bottom, this time on all four sides, and I added photos. I suspect that the intervals have something to do with the life cycle of mosquitoes. Units sometimes kill a few moths and I've also seen two or three insects that we call mosquito killers. It also kills mosquitoes as I have seen them come and get killed. Highly Recommended. I set a timer from dusk to dawn. I can truly say that these devices have changed my life as I can now really enjoy my yard and garden.
