Review on Upgrey Watercolor Paint Set: 48 Premium Colors + 6 Metallic, 20 Papers, 3 Brushes & More! by Kelly Caballes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good set for beginners, saturated colors, except for metallic colors. Neat Palette Case

This is a good little starter kit. The watercolors are removable and can be rearranged at will. However, I created a control colormap that followed its original order, so I probably won't move it. *** 48 normal colors**** 6 metallic colors**** color card**** 2 water brushes: one broad, one detailed**** 3 normal brushes**** pencil with sharpener*** * Sponge **** 20 Sheets of Watercolor Watercolor didn't impress me when I was younger. I recently tried gouache and was pleasantly surprised by the richness of the colors. Then I had a small set of travel watercolors. This is my second watercolor set. It's a little bigger than my first one and I was pleasantly surprised by the richness of the colors. I am also new to waterbrush pens. What a great idea. After receiving this set I made a color control chart and liked the regular colors. Some of them were so rich. The metallic colors didn't convince me. They blurred terribly. The watercolor paper is too small. Not a full sheet, but a good size to start with. I will post a color control chart along with this review.
