There are pluses and minuses, think before you buy.

Unlike the old models with a volume of 250-500GB, which, despite the difficult work at elevated temperatures, continue to work for decades, this model, carefully protected from temperature overheating, vibrations, etc., worked for a relatively short time. However, I bought myself a replacement, the red WD series, in the hope that this breakdown was just a misunderstanding, and not a pattern.

Pros

Speed. Price/volume ratio. Ability to use as a system.

Cons

Unreliability. Died after 4 years of active daily use. Died unexpectedly. There was a program for monitoring the state on the computer - SMART was excellent until the last minute. Fortunately, we managed to recover the information using R-Studio. After unsuccessful attempts to resuscitate, the surface was covered with a dense layer of broken blocks.
