LOVE these stones! I have had aquariums for over 20 years and have only ever used regular aquarium pebbles. I decided to make the switch because I heard larger rocks in the aquarium are easier to clean. I didn't want to change, but the difference they've made made me wish I'd made that transition a long time ago. The rocks are smooth and beautiful. Of the 2 bags I bought, 1 was broken. But it showed me that the inside of the stones is the same color as the outside, so no color. Very happy with this purchase. I only bought £36 to cover the bottom of a 29 gallon (12" x 30" bottom) tank. You can see the thickness in the photo.
