I needed a small radius drill to smooth the edges of about 250 feet of screen strips. The cost of this kit was about the same as an average quality bit, so I decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed is that they are not very well centered on the bearing. It was just because they were hand spun - they seemed to have a lot of play in the bearing, or they were slick, not machined/balanced very well. I only used one, but it seemed to work fine and there was no excessive vibration from my router when it was running. The only major problem I encountered came about halfway through my project: I noticed that the side of the board was scarred (burned, actually). I stopped and found that the camp was blocked and the shields had come loose from the camp. I replaced it with one of my Whiteside bearings (thank goodness they're standard size) and finished the project with no further problems. So either the bearings are of particularly poor quality, as I suspect, or the bit is so unbalanced that it destroyed the bearing after 30 minutes of use.
