Can be used instead of the walking foot in some cases
I use this foot instead of the walking foot for making cloth diapers. In particular, I use it on PUL, which usually requires a walking leg, but instead it works, which is very convenient because then I don't have to switch legs as often and it's not as bulky. I'm new to the sewers so I'm sure there's a better use for this leg. But for me it does what I need.
