Edit: I have two of these and they only lasted about 6 months. When they were new they put out 5V, but now they've both dropped to 4.8V, which isn't enough to power the cameras. A month ago I placed a Wyze Cam v2 on my doorstep. I tried sending 5V to the camera via Ethernet, but the voltage drop caused a lot of problems with the camera. So I hooked it up to a 48V POE injector (sold separately for $9) and it works great. Features that previously didn't work due to power issues but now work: two-way audio, SD card recording, and infrared. I will definitely be buying more of these for other cameras I install, maybe even my Raspberry Pi if I put it in a remote location.
