Review on πŸ”Œ Black Excalibur Digital Dryer 9B (4948CDFB) by Edyta Purgal ᠌

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

The dryer is quite nice, and its price is entirely justified. I originally purchased it as an accessory for the juicer, but I thought it would be a waste to throw away the cake, so I chose to make dry, healthy bread from it. However, I developed a taste, and now I dry not only bread but also fruit and vegetable-based snacks, beef jerky, marshmallows, and dip sauces. I have no idea how I survived and what I ate before having a dehydrator. The kit comes with up to nine trays, and the products dry fairly quickly and evenly on all sides. Most of the time, I just leave the chips and bread out overnight and throw them into a bowl when I wake up instead of bothering to calculate the duration. I also purchased silicone sheets to dry bread rolls and marshmallows. There is always a strong perfume in the kitchen while drying luscious fruits, which I actually prefer because I like the way fruits smell (if you do not dry the durian). But, if you choose to dry the fish, you'll probably need to wear a hood. As I dry at night and shut the kitchen door, there is a slight noise during operation. The apparatus is extremely enormous; it will be constructed in a closet, but it is currently sitting on the floor.) You only need to set the temperature and time on the control panel, which is quite simple. There is a combination mode that speeds up the drying process temporarily by raising the temperature. You can watch the procedure without opening the door because the front panel is transparent.

Pros
  • Simple to use, dries quickly and uniformly
Cons
  • There is noise, however it is not loud.
