I bought these to replace my 1983 Honda GL-1100 Interstate. I wired the auxiliary lights to three switches mounted on the lower right side of the fairing. When I accidentally overfilled the master cylinder, it ran onto the fairing and hit the switches, causing them to disengage. After a second set of plastic switches did the same thing due to dirt I can't clean, I got these switches in a metal case and haven't had any issues since. All headlights work but I don't have any LEDs on the connected switches due to the weak alternator these bikes came with and the extra wiring required which requires too much fairing disassembly.
