Review on 🚪 SimpliSafe Gen Latest - Doorbell Compatible with SimpliSafe Home Security System by Carlos Macy

My father gave me his old SimpliSafe system because as a long time customer he upgraded it to a 2nd generation system for free. I was pretty happy with the "handmade" system, so I leaned towards SimpliSafe when delving into doorbells. After research, I decided on a SimpliSafe offering because I needed the simplicity of a single application and a complete system. I am very happy with the doorbell. Night vision has a bit of noise or reflections, but otherwise the video is great! I wasn't happy with how easily someone could rip it off. It has a mounting plate with a set screw, and the average person probably doesn't have a tool to loosen the security screw. Unfortunately, tweakers aren't normal people, and it also sticks out of your door skin quite a bit, making it easy for a thief to rip it off completely. I guess I have video of them stealing it, but I'd rather it not be stolen at all. I knew it wouldn't last overnight in my area, so I built a wooden box that encased the entire device so they couldn't grab it. It's been about a month and it seems to be working.
