I love this faux leather stool! What a great color combination, brown, navy blue and fir turquoise. It's nice, thick, and supple, and it's a great option for those of us who want to look good but don't like the idea of natural goatskin (which most of these things are made of). Absolutely no weird smell. We chose to fill ours with shredded foam (four 12-ounce bags at our local fabric store = only $17) because we wanted them to be light and soft, yet still punch/inflate properly. We had some polyester padding and tried it first, but it didn't have the foldable, comfortable, and soft feel we wanted, so we removed it. with tiny rattles) static electricity makes some of the foam pieces dance, float, and stick to you. For stability, after adding all the styrofoam, we added an old square pillow and pillowcase. (It also helped tame the foam and keep it off the zipper.) It was wrapped in paper with a bow as shown in the product images and then in a frosty plastic zippered bag. From opening to walking in we have only good things to say. Highly recommended.
