Great starting point for balance bike

This year I wanted to get my 2.5 year old a bike toy for Christmas this year but I couldn't decide what to get him. I had never heard of balance bikes before, but after doing a little research I realized that this is exactly what I wanted to do. The main reasons I chose the balance bike were: 1. The balance bike is much easier for my child, right from the start. Even if he is not yet walking or balancing on it, he can use it alone by simply walking on it. 2: The balance bike will allow him to be more independent (and bonus for mom, I don't have to push him). as with entry-level tricycles). 3: The impeller teaches balance and steering first, and can add pedaling later. Ideally, we can skip the jockey wheel phase. So after researching I decided on a balance bike. When I first started looking for bikes to buy I was shocked at the cost. My budget didn't allow me to buy expensive ones, but I also didn't want to buy cheap ones that would disappoint me later. This bike was highly rated and fit my budget. Pros: This bike is slightly larger than the others, so he can use it longer. Comfortable seat. The floor on which he can put his feet is wide but not bulky. plastic wheels. I hope they hold up until he's ready to move on to the next level bike. That's the biggest disadvantage for me. He's taller so he barely touches the ground like a taller 2.5 year old. I would not recommend this model for small or younger children. As for the balance bike and the tricycle, I actually see him with both the classic red tricycle and this balance thanks to a Christmas present from my husband. Bicycle. One area where a wheel really excels is stability. Almost every time he tries to tip his trike over, it tips over. A balance bike is much less likely to fall to the ground. He approaches everyone the same way, but I prefer him to use an impeller as he needs a lot less help from me. Also, it's almost outgrown a tricycle (I give it less than a year), while a balance bike should last at least another two years. This was a personal purchase at the current retail price with no promise of verification.
